The Show Miami gears up for its first edition this March
The Show Miami, a new fashion trade show aiming to shift industry standards concerning trade fairs by delivering an elevated, social experience for buyers, exhibitors and the public alike is preparing for its first-ever edition.
Set to take place from March 17 to 19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the trade fair leverages its organizers decades of industry experience to offer a new trade fair format. The event will be a fully immersive experience, featuring five distinct sections inspired by iconic Miami neighborhoods, each showcasing curated brands that reflect the area’s unique style.
With a lineup of 200 selected women and menswear brands set to exhibit at the debut event, participating brands include established names such as Lacoste, Levi’s, Psycho Bunny, Sprayground, Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, True Religion, Ed Hardy, Dolce Vita, Hudson Jeans and more.
New, emerging brands set to exhibit include Propaganda, Jaxon Maximus, Common Table, Miami Clothing Company, La’agra, Sruti Dalmia, Messy Teddy, Ishikawa, Maceoo, Affliction, L’un D’un, TRTH, and Human Highness, among others.
“It’s imperative to have a fashion organization and event like “The Show Miami” here in Miami, because there is so much opportunity and innovation happening here in Miami leading the forefront of merging American and Latin American culture and creativity,” said Oscar Feldenkreis, CEO of Perry Ellis International, the biggest Miami-based fashion brand, in a statement.
Offering wholesale opportunities for brands across apparel, footwear and accessories brands, The Show Miami is expected to welcome thousands of buyers, many traveling in for the event from across the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe.
To further disrupt the paradigm, The Show Miami will also curate special public areas at its event which will be open to local communities who have a strong affinity for fashion, music, sports and other entertainment. These spaces will feature exhibitors from brands as well as social influencers and content creators. Non-industry professionals interested in attending the trade fair can purchase tickets via Eventbrite, with prices for Early Bird tickets going for 40 dollars.
“We are revolutionizing the industry by integrating social influencers as a pivotal communication force for brands,” said Ivan Herjavec, president of The Show Miami, in a statement. “Their involvement amplifies brand messages, expands reach, and enhances engagement with both local and global communities. This approach offers a unique value proposition that is unmatched by any other fashion fair.”
“Furthermore, having a trade show of this scale in the middle of March, we are extending the selling and buying season to vendors and buyers.” In addition, The Show Miami is also partnering with local fashion schools to give young creative access to work opportunities and the chance to connect with leading fashion brands, designers and industry professionals.
Selected partner schools include Miami Dade College Fashion Institute and Instituto Marangoni Miami.
