Luxury online shopping platform Senser launches in North America

Luxury online shopping platform Senser has launched in North America. Founded in 2017, Shanghai-based e-commerce platform and app works with more than 2,500 luxury brands from over 60 countries and offers a curated selection of more than 500,000 items.

With over 2 million customers shopping via the app, Senser continued to grow rapidly, working alongside logistic firms such as DHL to deliver products as soon as possible globally, white also establishing authentication processes to validate all its products.

In 2023, the company announced the appointment of Francesco Tombolini, the former EVP at Armani and former digital director of Gucci, as the head of Senser’s Global Advisory Board and successfully completed a B+ round of financing. Then, in early 2024, the luxury platform announced its new strategic focus, which included global expansion plans for the US market.

As all Senser products are shipped directly from European stores, consumers are able to purchase luxury items at anywhere between 30 to 60 percent off of regular retail prices while enjoying the same VIP level of service expected of the luxury brands, according to Senser. The e-commerce platform also uses its own logistics tracking system to solve any cross-border transportation issues and offers shoppers real-time updates.

Understanding the personalized nature of luxury shopping, Senser has also introduced online fashion consultants who provide additional services such as pre-ordering new season styles, custom styling advice, pre-sales product recommendations, global sourcing, international logistics tracking, and customized return and exchange programs. These consultants maintain ongoing relationships for core users of Senser, offering tailored support and guidance.

To mark Senser’s launch in the United States, the company is offering special discounts for new users on the app on iconic brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and Prada. Senser is operated by Chinese company Intramirror Limited.
