Rebag to open two new outlets in retail expansion strategy

Resale platform Rebag has revealed plans to open two more outlet locations in 2025 as part of a broadened retail expansion strategy.

On March 17, the company will open a site at Las Vegas Premium Outlet North in Nevada, which will be followed by a location at Desert Hills Premium Outlet in Cabazon, California, launching April 4.

These new stores build on the success of Rebag’s first site at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida, the company said, where it had first debuted its outlet strategy in 2022.

Its outlet store portfolio has since seen 30 percent year-over-year growth, reflecting what the company said was “overwhelming success” that has “paved the way to broaden its outlet expansion”.

In a release, Charles Gorra, Rebag founder and chief executive officer, said: “Expanding our outlet portfolio is a strategic move that aligns with our mission to make luxury resale more accessible and convenient for our customers.

“The impressive growth of our current store portfolio demonstrates the power of retail outlets and the growing interest in pre-loved luxury goods.”

Rebag has been on a mission to “engage luxury consumers across multiple channels”, already evidenced by a collaboration with department stores Bloomingdale’s and Walmart, with which it has set about democratising luxury, pre-owned goods.
